Straight-Run Coturnix Quail (3–5 weeks)
Perfect “grow-out” age: past the fragile stage, feathering in nicely, and close to starting their adult transition. Great for building a laying flock, future breeders, or just skipping the early brooder chaos.
- Age: 3–5 weeks
- Price: $7 each
- Sex: Straight-run (see notes below)
Straight-run / sex ratio notes
When birds are feather-sexable, we’ll aim to sell them at a 1:1 hen-to-rooster ratio when possible. If they’re not feather-sexable (or if visual sexing isn’t reliable for that group), birds will be pulled at random.
Pickup / Meetup (North Carolina Only)
Live bird sales are available in North Carolina only via local meetup pickup. We’ll coordinate the details after checkout.
We keep a few regularly scheduled meetup points, including Albemarle, Norwood, and Polkton. Need something outside our usual stops? Reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate reasonable arrangements.
What to bring
- A ventilated carrier/box for safe transport
- Plan for temperature control in the vehicle (no baking, no freezing… the birds hate both)
Quick notes
- Availability changes fast—if you need birds for a specific date, message us and we’ll confirm timing.
- These are sold as livestock for egg/meat production.
